Acceptable Use Policy
Effective Date: August 15, 2026
Last Updated: August 15, 2026
Version: 2026-08-15
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to everyone who uses wparts.com, APIs, hosted seller sites, messaging, Secure Rooms, calendar booking, or related services (the “Services”). It is incorporated into the Terms of Service and, for Sellers, the Seller Agreement and Site Builder & Hosting Terms. If a translation conflicts with the English version, the English version controls. Nothing in this AUP limits non-waivable rights that apply to you under the law of your country or state of residence.
1. Lawful Use Only
You may use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with this AUP, the Terms, and the Prohibited Items Policy. You must not use the Services to commit, plan, or facilitate a crime, or to evade sanctions, export controls, or other trade restrictions.
2. Illegal and Harmful Content
You must not post, host, transmit, or request:
- Content that is illegal in the United States or in the jurisdiction where you or the recipient is located;
- Fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading listings, reviews, identities, or business information;
- Stolen property, or goods you do not have the right to sell;
- Counterfeit or pirated goods, including unauthorized branded automotive parts (see the IP Policy);
- Malware, ransomware, spyware, password-stealing tools, or instructions primarily designed to compromise systems;
- Content that exploits, abuses, or endangers children, including any sexual or pornographic content involving minors.
3. Child Sexual Abuse Material - Zero Tolerance
WPARTS has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and for any sexual or exploitative content involving minors. We will remove such content, terminate the account, preserve relevant records as required by law, and report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement where required or appropriate. Do not use the Services to store, share, or link to CSAM.
4. Impersonation and Misrepresentation
You must not impersonate WPARTS, another user, a brand owner, a government official, or any person or entity. You must not suggest that WPARTS endorses your products or is the seller of your goods. Seller listings and hosted sites must accurately identify the Seller.
5. Spam, Scraping, and Abuse of the Platform
You must not:
- Send unsolicited bulk messages, scrape contact details for spam, or operate affiliate or SEO schemes that flood the Services with low-quality listings;
- Harvest emails, phone numbers, or lead-form data except as needed to respond to a genuine inquiry you received;
- Use automated bots, scrapers, or harvesters in a way that overloads the Services, circumvents rate limits, or copies the catalog or other users’ content without authorization;
- Circumvent technical controls, including security checks or access restrictions;
- Create multiple accounts to evade a suspension, fee, or review.
Reasonable use of the public website and documented APIs is permitted. Competitive scraping, bulk extraction of VIN/catalog data, or resale of platform data is not.
6. Security Abuse
You must not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services except with WPARTS’ prior written authorization; attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, Secure Rooms, or infrastructure; interfere with another user’s session; or use another person’s credentials or account. Report security issues to legal@wparts.com.
7. Sanctions and Trade Controls
You must not use the Services if you are on a U.S. sanctions list, owned or controlled by a sanctioned party, or located in a comprehensively sanctioned jurisdiction, or to deal in sanctioned goods. You must not list or request items that would violate OFAC, BIS, or other applicable export-control rules. WPARTS may refuse or disable activity where it determines, in good faith, that the activity would violate applicable law. WPARTS does not represent that it performs automated OFAC/AML screening of every user.
8. Messaging, Reviews, and Secure Rooms
Messages and reviews must not include threats, harassment, or illegal content. Do not use Secure Rooms to traffic in prohibited items or CSAM. Staff can read Secure Rooms content only if a participant reports a room and consents to hand over keys, as described in the Privacy Notice.
9. Hosted Sites and Pixels
Sellers must not publish illegal content on a hosted site, must not load malware, and must configure analytics or advertising tools only in accordance with the Cookie Policy and Site Builder Terms (visitor consent required). Lead forms must not be used to phish credentials or payment cards for WPARTS (WPARTS does not collect cards).
10. Enforcement
WPARTS may remove content, disable listings or sites, suspend or terminate accounts, and preserve or disclose data as required by law. Repeat or severe violations (including CSAM, sanctions evasion, or security abuse) may result in immediate termination. Enforcement decisions do not create a duty to monitor all content.
11. Reporting
Report AUP violations to legal@wparts.com. Copyright: DMCA Policy. Trademark and counterfeit: IP Policy. Privacy: privacy@wparts.com.
12. Changes
We may update this AUP. We will post the new version and update the Effective Date. Material changes that expand prohibited conduct for existing users will be notified as described in the Terms.
