# Is WPARTS the seller or does it offer buyer protection?

No. WPARTS is a technology platform only (see [§3](/en/help/legal/terms#s3)). An Order is a request transmitted to the Seller. WPARTS does not process card payments, collect sales tax, issue refunds, or offer buyer protection. Payment, shipping, returns, and taxes are arranged directly with the Seller (see the [Off-Platform Payment, Shipping & Returns Notice](/en/help/legal/payment-shipping-returns)).
