# Why can't I start more new chats?

WParts limits the number of new conversations an account can start within a rolling 24-hour period to reduce spam and unsolicited bulk messages. Reaching the limit does not remove existing conversations: you can continue messaging sellers connected to your orders and return to other active threads. Wait for the rolling window to release capacity instead of creating duplicate accounts or sending the same request to unrelated sellers. To use new chats efficiently, search by an exact part number, read the listing, and send one message containing the vehicle, required part, condition preference, destination, and specific question. For broad sourcing, create a part request so relevant sellers can respond through the intended workflow.
